HOW WE WORK

Coalitions for Sports Equity was founded in 2020 to coordinate, connect and convene, the nationwide network of sport equity coalitions.

We are a democratically-organized collective of community-based organizations, funding partners, and coalition leaders committed to advancing sport-based youth development as an educational and public health solution nationwide.

OUR APPROACH

We improve our own practice by learning from each other and experts on how to better build successful collaboratives.

We take action on shared priorities to increase sport equity in each of our respective communities and nationally.

STRUCTURE

We embrace Community Coalition Action Theory as a model for building a collective impact approach grounded in local solutions.
